Nurse Clinics
At Aireworth Vets our nurses are fully trained and qualified. They can offer friendly advice on many areas of pet health and several of these specialised clinics may be provided free of chrage, including:
Puppy and Kitten Clinics: Where you can ask any questions about your new pet and get information on parasites (fleas and worms),
nutrition and vaccination, neutering, insurance and behaviour.
Dental Checks: This allows you to discuss your pet's oral hygiene and ways you can prevent tartar build up, reducing the likelihood of your pet needing a dental procedure.
Weight Checks: An ideal support if your pet has overindulged in the past and now needs to lose some weight. Our nurses can design a reduction programme and provide information on successful weight loss.
Flea Checks: If you're worried your pet may be suffering from fleas this clinics would allow a nurse to check your pet for you and offer related advice.
Senior Pet Clinic: This is a clinic aimed at pets aged 7 years or older. Topics covered can include: dietary advice, dental examination, joint examination, a weight check, urine test, nail clipping, nose to tail examination, a discounted blood test (if advised) and blood pressure monitoring.
Our Nurses also offer: Nail Clipping, Tablet Administration, microchipping, Nutritional Advice, Grooming (depending on time and whether sedation is needed), Rabbit Checks and Small Pet Sexing.
