Home Visits for Pets
Aireworth Vets are now offering clients the convenience of a home visit for routine pet healthcare.
- Available on certain days of the week between 12.00 and 4.00 pm
- Must be pre-booked at least 24 hours in advance
- You can't specify an exact time or vet
- Once booked, you call us in the morning to find out your time slot
- Your pet must be ready when the vet arrives
- You must be able to hold or restrain your pet if required *
Ideal for cats and dogs who hate travelling
Home Visits cost just £20 plus the usual price for the Vet's expertise and treatment given. Payment must be made when you book (or within 24 hours of the visit).
Home visits are suitable for any Vet appointment that does not require the support of a Veterinary Nurse or Assistant. They are ideal for: Vaccines and Boosters; Consultations and Check‑ups (esp. for Repeat Medication); ID‑chips; Nail Clipping; and Anal Glands.
Home visits are NOT suitable for treatment or procedures that require special equipment or a nurse, e.g. taking samples.
The Aireworth Vets emergency visit, including our end-of-life at home service is still available on request.
* Treatment will only be given at the Vet's discretion to ensure our staff's safety.
