Introduction

The Equine department at Aireworth Vets provides an experienced, dedicated team of Vets
and Nursing staff operating from a modern, superbly equipped hospital facility. The
department provides both ambulatory and hospital based care to our Equine patients
and referring veterinary practices.

Veterinary services are provided for local events, premier eventing
competitions as well as for Southwell, Ripon and Doncaster races.

Meet the Team

The equine department comprises a team of six dedicated large animal veterinary surgeons.

All six vets are horse owners who ride regularly across a range of disciplines providing
insight and empathy with our equine clients concerns.

Our aim is to provide the equine client with the very best of care from the pet/companion
pony to the performance equine athlete.

Veterinary staff include Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons certificate holders in equine
practice and equine surgery. All are members of the British Equine veterinary Association
and actively participate in their continuing professional development programs.
