Veterinary Nurse Training

Aireworth Vets is a recognised and well-established RCVS training practice, with several experienced and fully-qualified internal assessors.

We recruit potential trainees initially as Animal Care Assistants who work a shift pattern that includes some nights and weekends. We expect them to remain in this role for a minimum of one year before becoming eligible to apply for a trainee veterinary nurse position and to attend the associated training course, usually on a day-release basis.

The decision to offer training is influenced by the potential trainee's performance record; our Practice training budget; and the availability of internal assessors.

We also support Student Veterinary Nurses (degree courses) during their placements.

We do not currently have any available training positions in either our Small Animal or Equine divisions.
